E3Point is a toxic or combustible gas detection system that combines a gas sensor (electrochemical or catalytic type), a control unit, and a set of outputs (such as 4-20 mA current loop, buzzer, and relays) in one reliable and robust product. The polycarbonate housing is resistant to rust, dents, and corrosion. In addition to its built-in sensor, the E3Point standalone monitor is capable of accepting one additional remote sensor. This configuration allows the E3Point to detect two gases in two separate locations. The E3Point network platform supports different protocols over an RS-485 link, such as Modbus or BacNet MS/TP master. It is well suited for commercial use in certain outdoor environments and indoor environments such as parking garages and mechanical rooms.
