Mid-February Winter Storm Causes Delay of Carrier Pickup
UPDATE: Monday, February 22, 2021
Carrier operations are beginning to resume, but some delays may continue this week. The Kele team processed and prepared all remaining in-stock orders (ordered 2/15-2/19) for shipment over the weekend. FedEx Ground, FedEx Express, and UPS have resumed services, but not all pickups have been made from the Kele distribution center.
We anticipate ongoing delays for LTL—both delivery and pickup—but are working with carriers to understand schedules.

Carriers continue to delay operations, including pickup, due to treacherous road conditions resulting from the winter storm in the Greater Memphis Area and other parts of the country. Although conditions are improving and temperatures are expected to rise above freezing the next few days, Kele has not been notified as to when carriers will resume normal schedules.
In the meantime, Kele remains open and will be working in our distribution center through the weekend to continue processing and prepping orders of in-stock products for shipment.

The winter storm that continues to affect many parts of the country has also hit Kele and our carriers. All carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and all LTL carriers, have delayed operations in the Greater Memphis Area where our distribution center is located. This is to keep drivers safe and avoid dangerous road conditions. Shipment of orders placed beginning Monday, February 15, may be delayed.
