MI Controls is the premier wholesale distributor for building automation controls, instrumentation and HVAC supplies.  With two locations, in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR metros, we’re conveniently located and ready to serve your project needs in the Pacific Northwest.

Our Legacy

We trace our roots back to 1920 as the Therm Gas Generator Company of Seattle, which served the Washington State oil heat and the Alaska fishing fleet industries. A series of mergers and acquisitions between Therm Gas, Mortemp Company, and Portland-based Industrial Controls Company, led to the creation of MI Controls, Inc. in 2001.

Our Future

Acquired by Kele, Inc. in 2018, MI Controls has been a meaningful part of the Kele Companies family for years. And coming in early 2026… MI Controls will officially become Kele.  More details coming soon!
