The TS-475 Series damper position switches use a roller ball and mechanical switch to provide open/closed damper position status. The TS-475 Series offers a non-mercury alternative for applications and for projects which do not allow mercury.

Kele's roller ball end-switch was the perfect solution for damper postion monitoring on a cutstomer's site that did not allow mercury position switches. So easy!
My Favorite Feature Compact, easy to install, easy to wire, 360 degrees of adjustment!

This product is perfect for job installations which restrict the use of mercury end switches. The ease of installation also makes for a very cost-effective method of retrofitting dampers for position indication and safety related fail-safes.

These are a good option if the spec's won't allow you to use the mercury filled version (TS-470) which always works. I have encountered failures of these switches due to their mechanical nature. The internals are rather flimsy but it's a simple design (essentially a steel ball rolling in a tube to make contacts).
Pros: Good value, Always in stock
Cons: maybe a 5% failure rate
