Q. What is included in the Model 2055 calibration kit for the 2001 and 1502 carbon dioxide sensors? How many sensors can be calibrated with one calibration kit?

A. Each Model 2055 calibration kit includes a bottle of zero gas, a bottle of span gas, all required fittings, tubing, etc., and a UIP (User Interface Program) for use on an IBM compatible PC with DOS 3.3 or later. It will not run on Windows or a Macintosh computer with a DOS simulator package.
There are two methods of calibration for the 2001 and 1502 carbon dioxide sensors. The quick field calibration requires only the UIP program and a known carbon dioxide standard to calibrate to. This takes 3-4 minutes. A full zero point and span calibration requires the gas canisters in the Model 2055 kit and takes 6-8 minutes. All calibration is done through software, there are no potentiometers to adjust. One canister of gas may be used to calibrate up to ten sensors.
