The BACnet Telephone Override Module (BTOM) provides building occupants the ability to override lighting, HVAC or both from any touch-tone telephone. The BTOM provides human voice prompting that informs the caller what information is required to be entered via the telephone keypad. The factory default voice prompts are recorded in English and can be recoded in any language through the local program jack.
The BTOM allows for control of up to 1,024 zones and is designed to be used in conjunction with a Building Automation System (BAS)*. The activation of zones is determined by the combination of two items; the callers User ID and the relationship to that User ID to the zone programmed in the BAS.
The BTOM is capable of communicating with almost any BAS using one of the folling native protocols; BACnet MS/TP, N2 Open, and Lumisys Open. Additional protocols are supported through the use of a Lumisys ELINK (BACnet IP, BACnet PTP, Modbus TCPIP, Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, or DALI IP).
