The BASRT-B provides stand-alone routing between BACnet networks such as BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, and BACnet MSTP. This allows the system integrator to mix BACnet network technologies within a single BACnet internetwork. There are two physical communication ports on the BAS Router. One is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and the other an isolated MS/TP port. Configuration is accomplished via a web page.The BASRTP-B is housed in a plastic case that is powered from a USB port on a laptop computer. There is one MS/TP port and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port.

I actually chose this product after I had bought a similar product that I was not satisfied with. This product is easily DIN rale mounted and lends itself to a secure panel installation. It is also very easy to set up. The instructions inside were enough to get it on line and configured properly. It even shows you ways to optimize the efficiency of the BACnet traffic through this router. Works perfectly and we were able to discover the attached MSTP devices immediatly.
My Favorite Feature Ease of setup. Very uncomplicated device that is easy to commission.
Pros: Good value, has a dual feed 24vac power option for redundancy., din rale mount, 24vac power source

We used one BASRT-B router to pull in Bacnet 15 T'stats and then routed the network over IP to the workstation, worked like a charm.
Also Used 3 BASRT-B to route 3 MSTP chillers over to Bacnet-IP, all the points pulled in with out any trouble. we used 3 routers to maintain redundancy.
My Favorite Feature Ease of use and reliability

After experiencing several failures with other BACnet IP/mstp routers, I tried one of these and was very pleased with how quick and easy it was to set up. As a bonus, it is far less expensive than the routers I had previously used. The BASRT-B is now my BACnet router of choice.
