EE65 and EE66 Series

Air Velocity Transmitters

The EE65 and EE66 Series airflow velocity transmitters are ideal for accurate ventilation control applications. They incorporate innovative hot film anemometer technology which guarantees good accuracy at low airflow velocity and is superior to conventional anemometers with hot wire sensors or NTC bead thermistors. The hot film sensor is also less sensitive to dust and dirt, for high reliability and low maintenance costs. The EE65 and EE66 series are available with current or voltage output, with the measuring range and the response time jumper selectable in the field. The EE66 is specifically designed for very low airflow velocities and is accurate down to approximately 30 fpm (0.15 m/s).

We needed a flow measure sensor that could be used where we had limited access to the outside air duct above the ceiling. We were skeptical at first but the thought of not needing to drop the duct work just to install several traverse tube or sensing probes was worth the chance. Happy to say we have no regrets. This sensor checked out good when compared to the balancing measurments. Some calibration on the BMS was required. We needed the EE65-VC model (electronics remote from the probe) which Kele was happy to acquisition for us. Not quite as accurate as some of the others that require full duct width space in order to install but still worked great for measuring OSA in exisitng space with tight access.
