The HC Series NEMA 1 hinge cover boxes serve as surface-mounted junction boxes or switch boxes. With the addition of a field-installed perforated subpanel, they can also house controls and instruments in areas that do not require oil-tight and dust-tight ratings.

We use these panels routinely for all types of applications. They are lightweight, yet durable. And the value can't be beat. Great for a few power supplies or a small controller with relays. The numerous knockouts make installation very simple.

This product was exactly what I was I was looking for. I needed a can that was only four inches deep and the hindged cover was bonus. This product was even a few dollas less than the next avalible standard scew cover can. The product was in stock and at my door in less than two days. It was a great product for a great price and I will be purchasing more in the future.

I've been using these enclosures for years because they are a high quality box. The door closes tightly and the metal is heavy gauge and durable. The hinges are good and the latch although plastic rarely gives out in service.
