Model LPI-1C is a loop-powered indicator featuring a large 3-1/2 digit LCD display with black digits. The Model LPI-1C displays engineering units of °F, °C, PSI, %, or no engineering units if desired. It is directly powered by the 4-20 mA signal and scaled to specifications.

We ordered multiple units of this product both in the single enclosed version and the double enclosed version and it has strengths and weaknesses. First the Good about it, Very easy to set up. Just plug in your two wires and your up and running. To calibrate takes a little more time because you need to go back and fourth between the zero and span pots. Reccomend a siimple switched 4/20ma source for this vs an actual sensor say in a tank you need to drain and fill. Easy to set decimal place and units of measure if desired. Enclosure is good quality for the price and seems durable. No knockouts however.
As for the weaknesses, One of them arrived in peices inside the box because it fell apart. It is simple a small display attached with two peices of conductive rubber to a small board inside of a housing. And then a second board that is attached to the first via some simple straight pins. The only thing securing the second PCB with the field terminals is the contact pressure of the small contacts holding the board on. Also the board will tilt down and some of the transistor leads short out on other jumper pins. Definitely not for use on something with any movement or vibration. Overall it could use some more thought put into the product vs getting an enclosure, a cheap meter and slapping the two together with a square cutout. It is a simple barebones display. Spend more $ if you need something for critical applications.

Cons: not bulletproof
No, I do not recommend this product.

The display is easy to set up and is versatile. The only negative is that the orginal unit only lasted 2 years before the screen blanked out.
Pros: Good value, Always in stock
Cons: quality
